Nora attends writing classes to improve her latest efforts as she continues to write about the past events that have unfolded.

Chad asks Kevin to accompany him to a film premiere, even though he is well aware it will cause further speculation about his sexuality and may damage his career.

When Chad's manager finds out, he approaches Kevin and advises him against accepting the invitation. He warns him that Chad is about to make a huge sacrifice for Kevin which will end up affecting both his career and his personal life. Kevin tells Chad he is unable to reciprocate such a commitment, preferring instead to take their relationship at a slower pace. Chad is offended by Kevin's approach and walks out on him.

Nora decides to invite Rebecca for dinner so that the entire family can finally become acquainted with their half sister. Kitty disapproves of the gesture but also has a prior engagement with McAllister in which she is introduced to his children as his girlfriend.

Both evenings end in disaster. Kevin is unsure whether Rebecca really is their father's child and plucks out a strand of hair in order to test it and prove who the father really is. Rebecca is immediately disgruntled by his bizarre behaviour and realises that there is no place for her within the dysfunctional Walker family.

Meanwhile, McAllister's daughter shows obvious discomfort at Kitty's presence and involvement with her father. This causes conflict between Kitty and McAllister, resulting in Kitty accusing him of using her in order to improve his image and further his career.

After their fight, it is uncertain whether they will be able to repair their relationship.
