Brothers and Sisters
The Walker family is growing. When the show returns in the fall, Scotty and Kevin are going to try to have a baby, and we’re hearing something about an appearance by Nora’s mom, who will, no doubt, make Nora crazy. (Watch With Kristin)
The show will add a medical-school study partner for Justin (Dave Annable)—a 16-year-old straight-A student whiz kid (think Doogie Howser) The as-yet-uncast character, potentially of East Indian decent, will challenge Justin’s confidence and cause him to question his priorities. (TV Guide Magazine)
When Rachel Griffiths returns as Sarah following her real-life maternity leave, she will be bringing with her something very special. She will briefly be seen in the season premiere, which will explain that Sarah endured a terrible summer of on-line dating and retreated to France for a much-needed vacation. When she lands back in California, on her arm will be gorgeous actor Gilles Marini as her new French beau. Per executive producer Monica Breen, Gilles’ character (who is still awaiting a name) will “make Sarah really think about her views on men. He will be an amazing challenge for her.” Co-producer Molly Newman adds that he will also figure into Sarah’s business dealings at Ojai Foods. (TV Guide Magazine)

Sadness. I thought we were going to see the online-dating antics unfold onscreen.

Seems like they'll only be showing the tail-end of her disastrous experience. I wonder how many episodes won't feature Sarah. I'd miss her.

They really like having Sarah mix business with pleasure, don't they? Or in this case, it's the other way around.

I find this a bit disappointing as well. Could have made for some great comic relief.
It's the emotions behind the incidents that matter. What are these people feeling? What is Dora really going through?
I love you because your heart is bigger than your very annoying brain.

Kevin & Scotty better get a meaty story with some notable airtime out of this baby storyline. If they get that I will deal with my reservations about the whole baby issue.

Does anyone know when we'll get episode titles and cast shots? It can't be that long now, right?

No it can't, normally shots would be out by now, wouldn't they?
Rachel Griffiths is the BEST! She rocks!

ABC's family drama Brothers & Sisters got a little hard to watch last season—what with the whole ugly Balthazar Getty/Tommy Walker mess—but we just checked in with our sources on the set, and they swear to us that show we love is ready and waiting for us this fall.
Are you interested in getting back in touch with our favorite Pasadena-Ojai clan? Read on to find out what you have to look forward to!
• Scotty (Luke Macfarlane) and Kevin (Matthew Rhys) look into baby-making, but they are in conflict over which method to use, and more importantly, how much to spend. (Kevin wants to hand over the megabucks, Scotty thinks that's nuts.)
• Sarah (Rachel Griffiths) is getting busy with Dancing With the Stars babe Gilles Marini, and sources tell us their scenes are hot.
• Grandma (Marion Ross) returns to torture her kids, Nora (Sally Field) and Saul (Ron Rifkin).
• Justin (Dave Annable) is all growed up and in medical school, but he won't be skating through, even though he has all that medic training under his belt.
• As we mentioned in the spoiler chat, Kitty (Calista Flockhart) and McCallister (Rob Lowe) are in deep trouble. Their marriage remains strained, but domestic issues aren't their only problem. One of the pair is keeping a major secret from the other.
Nothing new except for Robert or Kitty's major secret.

Wedding plans will be in full effect when "Brothers & Sisters" returns this fall. In fact, a nightmare engagement party thrown by Nora and Holly is apparently the season's first order of business. But with Justin now in medical school, his heavy work load will definitely contribute to some complications for the couple.
I hear there will be some new characters on "Brothers & Sisters" this fall? Any info? -Chad
Yes, Justin's got a Doogie Howser type study buddy now. Amy Aquino is joining the cast, playing a doctor who will treat an ill Walker. Peter Gerety is playing Phillip York, a one time business partner of William Walker who has taken a sudden re-interest in Ojai Foods. And, well, there might be a new little baby on the way with Kevin and Scotty ready to be dads.
I have a feeling Kitty is the ill Walker. Like we need another new character taking an interest in Ojai.
