Paige requests that the family celebrates both Hanukkah and Christmas. She believes that if they go back to their Jewish heritage, God will hear her prayers and cure her diabetes.

Saul finds out that William has left part of the land to Holly. Sarah tries to persuade her to sell it to them for considerably less than it is actually worth. When Holly finds out that they tried to con her, she refuses to sell; leaving the company once again on the verge of bankruptcy.

Kevin represents Justin in court to try and get him three months of recovery time before he has to go back to the army. They lose the case, but the army allows him to take six months off.

Meanwhile, Kitty is offered her own television show but is upset to hear that Warren is to lose his contract.

Nora visits Holly to tell her that all is forgiven. She asks Holly to sell the land for the sake of her family.

Holly agrees to sell after proposing that half the money is invested into the company. Sarah reluctantly agrees before telling Holly that she must never let Rebecca know who her father really is.
