Warren offers to whisk Kitty away for the weekend despite still being romantically involved with Amber. Kitty agrees, but only on the condition that Warren tells Amber what they are planning.

Sarah and Saul are unable to decipher their father's password, which would enable them to retrieve his hidden money. Sarah resorts to selling their ranch house to keep the company from financial ruin.

When informed of the fate of the ranch, the family reminisce about their childhood and adolescence spent holidaying there. Kitty decides to take Warren there for a romantic weekend, but unknown to her, all her siblings are arranging to take their partners.

Nora also plans to go to the ranch to retrieve items of sentimental value and is offered a welcome lift from David.

Meanwhile, Julia and Tommy look into alternative methods for conception but Tommy is uncomfortable about the possibility of using a stranger's sperm donation.

On arriving at the ranch and soaked from the rain, Nora and David remove their clothes to dry. As David emerges in a small, pink bath robe, Kitty enters with Warren. They are followed swiftly by Sarah and Joe, Kevin and Scottie, Tommy and Julia and Justin and his new girlfriend.

Despite the obvious discomfort of the situation, they are forced to stay together because of the torrential rain. While searching the attic, Sarah discovers an old baby photograph but is unable to identify who it is.

Meanwhile, Tommy asks Kevin if he could donate his sperm after confiding to him that he is infertile. When Kevin refuses to help, Justin offers, but his assistance is quickly dismissed because of his previous problems and troubled past.

Kitty finds out that Amber is unaware that Warren is spending the weekend with her and both of them agree that the only relationship they can have is friendship. Romance blossoms between Nora and David as they share a lingering kiss before he leaves.

When they return home, Sarah shows the photo of the unknown child to Saul. It suddenly dawns on Sarah that the photo could be of Rebecca, Holly's daughter and possibly the illegitimate child of her father.

Kevin agrees that he will help Tommy, as does Justin, and sperm samples are agreed to be taken but it will not be known which will work.
