It's the morning after Valentine's Day and each member of the Walker family has experienced an eventful night.

Kitty wakes up next to Senator McAllister and dashes to the bathroom to call and confess all to Sarah. While she is admitting to sleeping with the senator, Kevin calls Kitty on the other line to reveal he has slept with his ex, Scottie. It soon emerges that Justin has also slept with his ex, Tyler.

Sarah is contacted next by Nora, who asks her to promptly come and collect her from the police station where she has been held in a cell for the night.

The past events are then revealed.

Kevin was invited to a party by Chuck's girlfriend who was determined to set him up with a mystery man. The mystery man is soon revealed to be Scottie, his ex.

However, Scottie soon realizes that their night together may have been Kevin's attempt to make Chuck jealous.

Meanwhile, Kitty has accompanied senator McAllister to San Diego to help him prepare to negotiate funding for the presidency.

After their night of romance, they are no longer afraid to face the consequences and go public with their relationship.

It turns out that Nora was arrested for possession of drugs after she was caught smoking a joint in her car with a friend at the side of the road.

After the Valentine's Day dilemmas are mostly resolved, Sarah is less than pleased when Tommy goes against her wishes and plans to back Holly's latest business venture.
